Privacy Policy — Secure Cam

Secure Cam ("the app") is an Android video recording app published by Dream Agency ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app accesses on your device and what happens to that information.

In short: your videos stay on your own device. We do not have a server that receives your recordings, and we cannot see, collect or share them.

1. Information the app uses

Camera — required to record video. Video is written directly to storage on your device.
Microphone — used only if you turn on audio recording. You can switch it off at any time.
Notifications — Android requires a visible notification while recording runs in the background.
Storage — used only when you choose "Save to Gallery" to copy a video to your phone's gallery.
Passcode — if you enable App Lock, your 4-digit code is stored on your device only.
Settings — your preferences (quality, camera, timer) are stored on your device only.

2. Where your recordings are stored

Recordings are saved in the app's own private folder on your device. They do not appear in your gallery and are not visible to other apps unless you tap "Save to Gallery" yourself. Recordings are never uploaded to us or to any third party by the app.

3. Information we collect

We do not collect, store or sell personal information. The app has no account, no login, and no user profile. We cannot access your videos, audio, photos, contacts, messages or location.

4. Internet access

The app connects to the internet only to:

download a small configuration file that tells the app about available updates; and
request advertisements (see below).

These requests do not include your recordings or any personal information.

5. Advertising

The app may display advertisements supplied by Google AdMob. Google may collect and process information such as your device's advertising ID, approximate location derived from your IP address, and app usage in order to serve and measure ads. This processing is governed by Google's own policy: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.

6. Deleting your data

You can delete any recording from inside the app at any time. Uninstalling the app removes all recordings kept in the app's private folder along with all of your saved settings. Videos you exported with "Save to Gallery" stay in your gallery until you delete them yourself.

7. Children

Secure Cam is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Responsible use

While recording, the app always shows an ongoing notification, and Android shows its own camera indicator. Secure Cam is not designed for hidden or secret recording. Recording people without their knowledge or consent may be illegal where you live. You are responsible for using the app lawfully and for obtaining consent where it is required.

9. Security

Because your recordings never leave your device through the app, their security depends on your device. We recommend keeping a screen lock enabled and turning on the app's App Lock feature.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
